Worker exploitation is nothing new, every so often it just morphs into a new form (‘nothing’s changed, you just call it by a different name now’). This time it’s making obscene amounts of money commoditising peoples every waking moment, paying them next to nothing, then taking no responsibility for them as employees.

Pandemic lockdown has only amplified these issues with things like food delivery services. It’s just getting harder and harder to avoid using them, even if you hate what they stand for.
